Aramark is seeking a dedicated Painter I to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the aesthetic integrity and safety of the properties we service, which include educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and other business settings. The Painter I will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to protect and beautify surfaces in accordance with required colors and textures, ensuring all tasks are completed with Aramark’s high standards of quality and excellence in service. Prepare surfaces by scraping, using commercial paint removers, or wire brushing. Mix and match paint and finish products to desired color and texture. Apply paints and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or rollers. Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of protective equipment. Maintain clean and safe work areas. Inspect finished jobs for quality and adherence to customer specifications. Coordinate with other department team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Proven ability to mix, match, and blend paints using professional techniques. Skillful in the use of painters' tools and equipment, particularly in preparation and application tools. Knowledge of different paint types, their applications, and necessary safety precautions. Strong attention to detail in applying paint to ensure cleanliness and precision. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Completion of an apprenticeship or technical training in painting is highly desirable. Professional certification such as a Certified Painter certification is a plus.
