Job Description:
Volt DTS is searching for a Power Train Technician Specialist to
support a key client, located in the Milwaukee, WI area.

As a Power Train Technician, you will:
Follow work order instructions to implement test requirements.
Maintain, calibrate and apply instrumentation.
Modify parts for installation of instrumentation.
Set-up of servo-hydraulic and electrodynamic test systems.
Ability to operate data acquisition systems to collect data from
sensors in support of testing.
Write engineering reports that documents the test environment for
knowledge capture.
Support implementation of product evaluation test strategies
Strict adherence to the 5S concept and all other supporting CI
(continuous improvement) methods.
This is a full-time, contingent opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent
technology. Equivalent experience is acceptable.
Test Development & Execution (development, durability,
certification)
General knowledge of test lab functions through previous
employment, co-op, or college internship.
Demonstrates some understanding of data acquisition systems and
techniques through work experience or education.
Has been exposed to instrumentation tools and techniques though
work experience or education.
Has utilized tools to efficiently reduce & summarize test data in
charts, plots, and diagrams for purposes of design analysis.
Can output data from a variety of system formats into basic charts
& plots.
Pay Rate: $30.00 - 38.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
