Job Description Job Description Role Summary The Forklift Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle counting. This role plays a key part in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within a food manufacturing environment. The associate will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to ensure safe and timely movement of goods, while also assisting with documentation and communication across teams. Key Responsibilities - Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials. - Support inbound receiving, including verification of shipments and application of lot/serial labels. - Assist with outbound shipments, preparing documentation such as packing lists and labels. - Perform cycle counts and inventory control tasks to ensure accuracy and traceability. - Reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. - Collaborate with Customer Service, Logistics, and Operations to coordinate shipment priorities. - Maintain compliance with food safety, allergen control, and temperature-sensitive product handling. - Keep warehouse records organized for audits and regulatory reviews. - Provide coverage for order picking, shipping, and receiving as needed. Qualifications - 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or inventory control. - Experience in food manufacturing or food distribution required. - Forklift certified. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory reconciliation. - Ability to work effectively in both office and warehouse environments. - Proficient in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel for basic reporting. Success Looks Like - Accurate and timely completion of shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions. - Reduced discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. - Audit-ready documentation and strong compliance with food safety standards. - Efficient and safe forklift operation supporting daily warehouse needs. Additional Expectations - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Must be able to work in temperature-controlled environments (coolers and freezers). - Weekend work or extended hours may be required during peak periods.
