Job Description:
Performance Foodservice is seeking a dedicated CDL A Local
Delivery Driver for night shifts to ensure safe and timely delivery
of our food and food-related products. With a commitment to
excellence and precision, the successful candidate will play a
pivotal role in maintaining our reputation of delivering over
150,000 products nationwide, from small family-owned establishments
to large chains. This position requires excellent driving skills,
adherence to transportation laws, and the ability to work during

operation of a commercial vehicle to transport food items to
various locations based on assigned routes. Loading and unloading
truck, ensuring that all cargo is secured. Maintaining accurate
logs of deliveries and journey details as per regulatory and
company guidelines. Inspecting delivery vehicle daily to ensure
functionality and safety. Providing excellent customer service
during delivery, addressing customer needs and managing receipts of
deliveries. Compliance with all transportation laws and maintaining
a safe driving record. Proven experience in operating a commercial
vehicle safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of state and
federal transportation regulations. Excellent time management to
fulfill delivery schedules and ability to navigate routes
effectively. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and
moving heavy loads. Exceptional customer service and communication
