Job Description UW Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for a job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: 80% FTE, 32 hours per week. Shifts scheduled Tuesday 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Wednesday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with acute care experience to: - Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to University Hospital in acute care settings. - Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans. - Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center. - Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one’s own practice and educate others.
