the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Endoscopy RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration:
13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of
two years of experience within the last three years in acute care
settings. Must have recent experience in recovering sedated GI and
pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, and Colonoscopy.
Experience in managing PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery is
required. Telemetry experience is necessary, with Basic Arrhythmia
skills essential. License: A current state nursing license is
required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification through the
American Heart Association is required. Preferred certification in
CGRN. Must-Have: Ability to perform moderate sedation during
procedures. Experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or a
similar size hospital. Epic charting system experience within the
last 12 months. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to
provide care for patients during GI and Bronchoscopy procedures.
The nurse will be responsible for administering sedation and
monitoring patients. This role requires being an integral part of a
surgical team that performs multispecialty procedures. The nurse
will assume overall responsibility for managing the operating room
to which assigned. Floating to different departments as needed may
be required based on staffing needs. The nurse may be scheduled for
shifts in various units or locations within the organization.
Weekend rotations and some holidays may be required. Candidates
should expect to encounter a diverse patient population, mainly
consisting of adults and geriatrics. The daily census is
