Job Description:
SSM Health, a leading non-profit healthcare system, is seeking a
compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our
Hospital Nursing Float Pool. This position provides a unique
opportunity to work across various departments within our fully
integrated health system, offering critical support where it's most
needed. Ideal candidates will thrive in diverse settings, adapting
quickly to different clinical environments while upholding the
highest standards of care. Provide high-quality nursing care in
varying departments based on daily needs. Assess patient health
problems and needs, and develop nursing care plans. Administer
nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Document and communicate actions to maintain continuity among the
nursing team. Strong clinical skills across multiple specialties
Excellent adaptability to rapidly changing environments Superb
communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in electronic
health record (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be beneficial
