Job Description:
Hourly Pay Range: $18.50 - $28.68 - The hourly pay rate offered
is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience,
among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Pharmacy
Technician-Swedish Infusion Centers - Location: Primarily working
at Swedish Cancer Center, with rotation cross other infusion
cetners as needed [Kellogg Cancer Center (Evanston, Glenview, and
Highland Park locations), Niles Infusion Center, and Arlington
Heights Infusion Center] - Full Time/Part Time: Full-time - Hours:
varies, 7:00am- 6:00pm - Required Travel: yes between sites, based
on rotating schedule What you will need: - License: Current
Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required - Education: High
School Diploma or equivalent - Certification: Certified Pharmacy
Technician (CPhT) preferred; certification required within two
years of initial licensure. - Experience: Prior technician
experience or hospital experience preferred. If candidate does not
have prior compounding and/or hospital experience, then we are
willing to provide on the job training to an individual who is
motivated to learn aseptic compounding skills and is a quick
learner looking for a new challenge - Skills: N/A What you will do:
- Prepare sterile compounded products for IV infusion (such as
bags, syringes, pumps) in accordance with sterile clean room
regulations - Ensure there is adequate inventory of supplies and
medications available as needed for patient care - Assist
pharmacists in maintaining medications records and files as needed
- Place medication and supply orders to maintain appropriate
