Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our team of healthcare professionals in providing exemplary
care and rehabilitation services. Our RNs play a critical role in
helping patients recover from serious illnesses or injuries,
guiding them towards regaining their independence. This position
offers a unique opportunity to work within a patient-focused,
supportive environment, utilizing cutting-edge healthcare
technology and practices to make life-changing impacts on patient
outcomes. Assess patient conditions and nursing needs; set goals
and prescribe appropriate nursing interventions. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Coordinate
with rehabilitation staff to develop care plans tailored to patient
recovery goals. Educate patients and their families on disease
processes, post-hospitalization care, and preventive health
measures. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in
patients' conditions. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and
records of patient care. Manage a multi-disciplinary team while
ensuring the adherence to quality standards, compliance with
regulations, and policies and procedures. Strong clinical skills in
a healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time
efficiently Deep knowledge of nursing practices, care assessment,
and diagnostic practices Proficiency with medical software and EMR
systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required;
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
