registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. A specialized nursing opportunity is available for
an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in NICU care, focusing on
critically ill newborns and infants. This contract position offers
a chance to provide expert nursing care in a Level IV NICU setting
at a nationally recognized pediatric medical and surgical center in
Madison, WI. Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care
to critically ill newborns and infants, managing complex medical
and surgical conditions. - Provide support to families throughout
the continuum of care, from admission through discharge. - Manage
post-operative care, including g-tube and trach/vent management. -
Utilize various modes of invasive and non-invasive ventilation. -
Navigate Epic electronic health records efficiently to document
patient care. - Demonstrate basic arrhythmia interpretation skills
and telemetry monitoring. Qualifications/Desired Experience: -
Minimum of 2 years total NICU III/IV experience, with at least 1
year at Level IV NICU. - Experience with post-op patients,
respiratory support, and invasive/non-invasive ventilation. -
Recent Epic experience, preferably within the last 12 months. -
Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or a compact license
from a permanent address state that qualifies. - Certification in
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association. -
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. - Demonstrated
competency in telemetry and basic arrhythmia interpretation,
passing required testing prior to assignment. - Travelers permanent
residence must be at least 50 miles from Madison, WI. Shift
Schedule: - 12-hour shifts, day (7:00 am 7:30 pm) or night (7:00 pm
7:30 am). - Monday through Friday with required 2-3 weekends per
6-week rotation. - Option for 4x12 shifts up to 26 weeks. Location
