Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Wisconsin Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Madison, Wisconsin Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), variable days with every other Friday through Sunday rotation required Highlights: Work at a prestigious Magnet-designated facility ranked 1 in Wisconsin 28-bed diverse medical/surgical telemetry unit with 4:1 patient ratio Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Dynamic patient population including post-operative, emergency admissions, and inter-hospital transfers Opportunity to utilize advanced assessment and intervention skills across multiple service lines 20 hours of orientation provided with full unit-specific training Requirements: Active Wisconsin RN license or valid compact license from permanent address state Minimum of two years acute care experience within the last three years in medical/surgical telemetry specialty Epic EMR experience required, preferably within the last 12 months Basic arrhythmia interpretation experience; must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start BLS certification through American Heart Association only Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from the work site Experience with diverse skill set including dysrhythmia management, IV insulin protocols, post-surgical care, and wound management Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to elevate your nursing career at one of the nation's leading teaching hospitals and referral centers.
