Cath Lab Tech Location: Madison, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,986 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: 1 year of experience required License: State license required Certifications: ARRT R or CCI RCIS required Must-Have: - First-time travelers accepted - Call is 1 day per week (Monday to Thursday) and every 4th weekend Description: The Cath Lab Tech position requires experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization. Candidates must have skills in ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, and adult diagnostic catheterization. Familiarity with dysrhythmias interpretation, PACS, and fluoroscopy is essential. Proficiency in operating equipment brands such as Philips and Siemens is required. The role includes monitoring patients accurately and maintaining a sterile field during procedures. It is important to be able to perform procedures such as pulmonary artery line insertion and temporary pacemaker placement. Technicians should have experience with percutaneous coronary interventions and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty. Additional skills include recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias and use of hemodynamic monitoring. Experience in a hybrid operating room setting is beneficial. Candidates must adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including the use of rapid response/code teams.
