Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Technicians Needed ASAP, OT Offered! Job Description As an HVAC Technician, you will competently install all equipment provided by the company, including forced air natural gas and propane, as well as electric heat pumps in both residential and commercial settings. You will utilize advanced custom sheet metal fabrication skills while assisting and training install technicians as needed. Your role involves assessing HVAC/R equipment with a wide knowledge base of system component functionality and returning to problematic callbacks or calls that were unable to be addressed by less experienced technicians. You will provide key technical support and procedural information to technicians when required, and be able to read and work from schematics. Responsibilities Complete all necessary data entry into software. Apply company sticker protocol and equipment information gathering procedure at each install. Recommend additional products that could enhance comfort. Collect payment from customer at job completion if applicable. Send review request upon job completion. Program thermostat and thoroughly explain operation to customer. Maintain outstanding communication with customers and co-workers. Ensure all functions of installation tech are done properly and assist as needed. Perform a final check of all work and take pictures before leaving. Essential Skills Competency in HVAC installation, service, and sheet metal fabrication. Possession of EPA universal certification. Ability to read and work from schematics. 3 years of experience in HVAC, installation, and sheet metal fabrication. Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and customer service. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and customer service. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
