Job Description:
Yamato Americas, proud to be a key player in the Yamato Group,

solutions globally, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer. In
this role, you will utilize state-of-the-art technology to develop
mechanical systems and products that meet our strategic
connectivity and supply chain optimization modalities. The ideal
candidate will bring a detailed understanding of engineering
principles and a passion for design to contribute directly to our
manufacturing excellence. Design and analyze mechanical systems and
components, ensuring they meet both technical and commercial
requirements. Prepare detailed CAD drawings, specifications, and
lists of quantities for components and assemblies. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams such as production, engineers, and project
managers to streamline the manufacturing process. Drive innovation
by staying updated on industry trends and integrating new
technologies into product development. Lead prototyping and testing
phases to validate components and systems, ensuring they meet
regulatory, quality, and client-specific criteria. Handle
documentation for design project files and manage revision control.
Support manufacturing teams by providing detailed guides and
directions. Proficiency in CAD, CAM software including AutoCAD,
SolidWorks, or similar. Strong understanding of mechanical
engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the ability to work
collaboratively in a team setting. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional
Engineering (PE) license preferred Certification in CAD design is a
plus
