recover. /n /n We are seeking a Biomedical Engineering Technician
II to: /n /n - /n Diagnose and perform repairs on medical equipment
in both shop and critical care settings—including operating rooms,
trauma units, emergency rooms, and other patient care
areas—ensuring timely service to minimize downtime. /n - /n
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed
on assigned medical equipment and promptly update the department
database with complete service documentation. /n - /n Apply strong
attention to detail to identify opportunities for process
improvement and implement effective solutions. /n - /n Leverage
collaborative skills to prioritize tasks within a team environment
while successfully managing independent projects. /n /n /n At UW

/n - Associate's Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or
related field Required /n - Two (2) years of related experience
would be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience
below /n - Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering Preferred /n
/n /n /n /n /n /n Work Experience/n /n /n /n - 1 year experience
working with biomedical, electrical, electronics, IT, or mechanical
equipment Required /n - 2 years previous experience as Biomedical
Engineering Technician or electronics related technical field
experience Preferred /n /n /n /n /n /n /n Licenses &
Certifications/n /n /n /n - Valid driver’s license in the person’s
state of residence /n • Must be 21 years of age or have three (3)
years of driving experience to operate a Patient/Visitor Vehicle or
UW Health Vehicle other than a golf cart or utility terrain vehicle
